Capabilities & scope

Shape the right capabilities.

Plan the features around your users, operations, and the systems you already use.

01 /

Structured content

Model categories, records and supporting media so information stays consistent as the catalogue grows.

02 /

Search and discovery

Scope browsing, filtering and search around the questions visitors bring, rather than exposing an internal filing structure.

03 /

Editorial review

Plan draft, review and publication states, with clear responsibility for who can change or approve each type of content.

04 /

Web and mobile delivery

Present content across the agreed channels, considering media sizes, update frequency and specialist reading or map views where useful.

Useful answers

Before we
get started.

Is a custom system necessary for a simple website?

Not always. An established CMS may be appropriate. A custom approach becomes more useful when the content model, access rules, integrations or delivery channels need specific behaviour.

Can you move our existing content?

Migration can be scoped after reviewing source files, record quality, media rights and the target structure. Mapping and editorial cleanup should be considered part of the work.

Can the same catalogue power a mobile app?

A shared API can support web and mobile channels. We would first agree which information and interactions each channel needs, including update and connectivity requirements.

Keep exploring.
