Illustrative workflow
Built around your operations

Your workflow.
The starting point.

An auction is more than a changing price. We engineer the bidding journey and the operational rules around it, drawing on the auction work documented in our company profile.

Capabilities & scope

Shape the right capabilities.

Plan the features around your users, operations, and the systems you already use.

01 /

Listing preparation

Give operators a structured way to prepare lots, product information, images and auction schedules before publication.

02 /

Bidding rules

Define bid increments, eligibility, auction closing behaviour and how participants see the current state. These rules guide the implementation.

03 /

Transaction handoff

Connect the winning result to payment and fulfilment workflows, with explicit handling for unpaid wins and operational intervention.

04 /

Operational controls

Scope moderation, review tools and activity records so staff can understand what happened and manage exceptions.

A role for every workflow

Different needs.
One connected system.

Explore the perspectives to bring into discovery. Final modules and permissions are agreed in scope.

  • Review lot information and rules
  • Place a bid and receive its result
  • Complete the winning transaction
A useful first conversation

Bring the details
that matter.

  • Write the accepted-bid and auction-closing rules before development.
  • Plan connection loss and delayed update states.
  • Separate auction results from payment and fulfilment status.

Useful answers

Before we
get started.

Can you build live bidding?

Live bidding is part of the auction experience documented in the portfolio. A new implementation still needs agreed concurrency, update behaviour and rules for closing auctions.

How do you handle two bids arriving together?

The accepted-bid rule must be explicit and enforced by the server. The implementation should give participants a clear result and preserve enough information to review disputed activity.

Does this include marketplace operations?

Seller onboarding, moderation, fees and settlement can be assessed separately. They are not automatically included in a bidding module.

Keep exploring.
